Bay State Savings Bank Promotes Joyce B. Shand to Senior Vice President, Senior Credit Administration Officer.

WORCESTER, MA  – Bay State Savings Bank is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Joyce B. Shand to Senior Vice President, Senior Credit Administration Officer.

Ms. Shand joined the Bank in 2020 as Vice President, Credit Administration Officer. Since joining the Bay State Savings Bank team, she has helped the Bank achieve its strategic goals for growth while also maintaining the highest quality loan portfolio.  Ms. Shand will continue to oversee the underwriting and credit risk management functions of the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio in support of quality growth in the lending activities.

In addition to her work here at the Bank, Ms. Shand works at a weekly Food Bank, and various community outreach and youth programs, sponsored by the Worcester Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Ms. Shand currently serves on the Board of the Worcester Comprehensive Education & Care organization which provides early education and care services to families with children from age 4 weeks to 13 years old.
