Bay State Savings Bank Promotes Rosa M. Hernandez to Branch Operations Officer

WORCESTER, MA – Bay State Savings Bank is pleased to announce Rosa M. Hernandez has been promoted to Branch Operations Officer at the Bank’s 28 Franklin Street location in Worcester, MA

In this newly created position, Ms. Hernandez will be working directly with the branch staff to oversee and streamline the operational practices in the branch system, while encouraging consistency throughout the branch network.

Ms. Hernandez joined the Bank in 2003 as a head teller. Since then, she has held the positions of Branch Operations Supervisor, BSA Administrative Officer, and BSA Administrator/Compliance Specialist. She has over 28 years of banking experience.

“Rosa has been an integral part of Bay State Savings Bank since she first started here in 2003,” said Diane Giampa, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Marketing, and Retail Banking. “She does a fantastic job helping our branches run efficiently and I look forward to the ways this new position will help her continue to make a positive impact on our employee and customer experience.”

Ms. Hernandez resides in Worcester, MA with her husband, Ernesto, and her son, Marcelo.
