June 18, 2024

Sterling, MA – Bay State Savings Bank and the Worcester Business Development Corporation (WBDC) were proud to finance the new commercial space for Twins Lawn Service.

Located at 110 Worcester Rd, Sterling, MA, the newly acquired facility not only accommodates Twins Lawn Service’s corporate operations but also provides ample space for their landscaping equipment and materials.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with Twins Lawn Service to finance their dream of securing a permanent home for their business,” said Seth A. Pitts, President & CEO at Bay State Savings Bank. “Bay State Savings Bank is built for community partnership and local development, especially through investments that help grow family-owned businesses. We’re all in this together and we’ll always be here for our communities.”

The Worcester Business Development Corporation (WBDC) was also instrumental in financing the new space for Twins Lawn Service. “The WBDC is excited to help another small business in Worcester County and add to our growing SBA 504 Loan portfolio,” says Christina Escobar, Director of SBA & Lending.  “The SBA 504 Loan Program continues to provide low interest, fixed rate financing that we are always recommending to borrowers.”

Bay State Savings Bank and the WBDC were both in attendance for the ribbon cutting ceremony held on May 23, 2024, alongside Representative Meghan Kilcoyne and representatives for the Town of Sterling, State Senator Peter Durant’s office.

“We are so happy that the Bay State Savings Bank and WBDC team were able to make it to our ribbon cutting ceremony. We are truly appreciative of the work they put in to making the dream of owning our own shop a reality,” said Brandon Fusaro, Owner and Managing Partner of Administration at Twins Lawn Service. “From the start of the loan process more than two years ago (for a different site that fell through) to the closing this past December, everyone at Bay State Savings Bank and WBDC were always responsive and supportive of our banking needs to secure SBA 504 funding. We always felt like the whole team had our best interests in mind.”

With its doors now open, the facility will serve as the central hub for Twins Lawn Service, housing their business activities and storing essential construction and landscaping equipment.
